Procrastination. It’s a daily challenge.
I’m too busy to eat- I’ll do it later. Oops- it’s 2:15 time to pick up D from school and I haven’t eaten since 7am… I have to just grab anything fast- a banana or a Nature Valley and get out the door. Now I’m set until dinner.
What? it’s 6:30 – 7:30, I’ve fed everyone else, no I didn’t eat (I don’t want tortelloni or a baked potato- or a veggie chicki burger ) and I’m going to the couch for a bit. Hmmm? 9:00? you better get to bed, D. I think I’ll stick and organic pizza in the toaster oven… I’ll be finished with it by 9:30. I can tell you that I’ve probably consumed 3 pieces of fruit, a fair amount of dairy and managed the whole thing horribly.
Throw into the mix that I am now trying to figure out pre and post workout nutrition. What? She works out? Well… That is another “P” – word challenge too. Getting there- it is only week two of my membership and I have attended ONE TIME. Oh sure I have REASONS. Nutrition is not one of them, nor will it ever be. But I GD sure want to make the the most out of time I spend there.
How I I expect to move forward with my new (NOT 70lbs over 5 years) goal if I PROCRASTINATE?

Pounds to Spare

Spare Pounds? Yeah, I’ve got more than a few to shed. It is my intention to document and share my journey as these pounds are released from the confines of my amplitude.
How many in all, you might wonder; 70lbs to be exact. Your spending these special moments with a 49 year-old 5’7″ 230lb earthmama, who has very slowly already lost 80lbs over the last five years.
I do not want to take another 5 years to get the next 70lbs off! In fact, I have lost 20lbs in the last six months… And now I have a goal to reach for April.
